Other ways to unblock web sites are by using sites that translate pages , like Google Translate or Babelfish. You can also try using Google’s cache version of the site. However, it’s not possible to login that way, so it’s still best to use a proxy when you need to login.

Another way to unblock web sites in school is by setting up your own proxy. This is more complicated than just using a proxy but it’s a lot nicer to have because you’re in control.
